This is not your typical buffet, they only serve fried chicken with sides and pizza. If you want variety, you will need to go somewhere else. They also serve desert pizza which is very good, as well as soft serve ice cream.
I really like what all we get for the price, a pizza, fried chicken, salad and dessert buffet with the drink included. However, I was not impressed with the pizza this time. I usually really like it, but I don't know if they changed the recipe or if I just wasn't feeling it tonight. One thing they did change that I'm grumpy about is the sauce options for the chicken. In the past they have had big bottles with sauces for the chicken, as well as ketchup bottles on the buffet, but now all they have are those dumb packets that are hard to open, plus you have to use 3 to get enough sauce. Disappointed about that. I also missed the special salad for the salad bar. Previously they always had a seasonal salad, like berry Walnut or mandaran orange, but not tonight. Also, they had a bunch of signs up for a new kind of pizza with french fries, but they didn't have it out. If you have something advertised, you'd think that they would keep it stocked pretty well on the buffet. I know I could have requested it, but I had already requested something else and didn't want to be needy. I do love the dessert pizza, though, especially apple and peach. However, all they had was butterscotch (not great) and their classic cactus bread. The thing I requested was the dessert pizza. It was so worth it. I ate ice cream while I waited and it was good too.
All of these little employee faux pas, the christian rock, and the sickness my girlfriend got after eating there is enough for me to decide it isn't worth almost $30 to go back again.
I typically hate buffets because of poor food choices and mediocre food. I may have finally found the exception to this. The chicken was constantly stocked, hot and fresh. The side items were equally well stocked and fresh. The chicken was excellent. I didn't have the pizza, but it looked good and there was plenty available to choose from.
The pizza wasn't too bad, but the service wasn't amazing. When I called the girl who answered the phone wouldn't talk straight or answer my questions because she kept laughing and fooling around with her co-workers. As I was at the buffet one of the employees in the lobby thought it was professional to yell from one end of the lobby to another worker on the other end of the restaurant. When we finally had our meal and were trying to cram our faces and laugh there was this tall pasty employee walking around the tables like he was on patrol in the world's most deadly prison.
The restaurant was kept clean and the service was friendly. I look forward to my next visit.
Very good, quality food. Buffet was kept well stocked with hot, fresh pizza, chicken and plenty of sides. They even asked if there was a particular pizza we liked so they could make one.
People have told me to come here for years. I've always put it off and went somewhere else. My girlfriend finally brought me here and I now regret not coming here sooner! This place is amazing! The pizza is really good, but the chicken... This chicken has got to be the best I've ever had! Buffets are rarely great. You usually get a variety of mediocre items and maybe one or two pretty decent items. However, everything here is top notch. Highly recommended.
The service was also excellent. The dining room attendant constantly kept our dirty dishes cleared from the table and even asked if there was something we wanted that we couldn't find on the buffet. We asked if they had a certain item made, and she replied that they did. She then proceeded to bring that item to our table fresh out of the oven to make sure we got some before it was gone.
